The third annual Schönox Worst Subfloor Contest™ opened nine months ago with the startinggun phrase, Worst Case Scenario, You Win! The winners will be announced at the Schönox booth (#4271) during the TISE (Surfaces) trade show on Thursday, January 19th at 11:00am. The Schönox Worst Subfloor Contest™ asks participants to submit entries featuring their most challenging subfloor projects and how they renovated those tough subfloor conditions using Schönox products. The worst subfloor challenges paired with the best renovation performance win. Entries are reviewed and scored by three independent judges and the winners receive a variety of prizes and much deserved recognition for their hard work and professional approach to subfloor preparation.. . .

Concrete Exchange has partnered with HPS Schönox to provide the full line of Schönox subfloor products. Headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, Concrete Exchange will distribute Schönox moisture mitigation systems and primers, patching and smoothing products, floor leveling compounds, adhesives, and waterproofing materials. “Our design and innovation focus in the use of concrete for high-style décor elements has led us to consider other areas where that focus is of value for our customers,” explained Mike Heidebrink, CEO, Concrete Exchange. “The ability to support our customers’ flooring and subflooring projects via a partnership with Schönox was a natural and important extension of our business.”. . .

HPS Schönox announced important additions to its sales and technical support team. Bernie Cooper and David Lepird have joined the company as Regional Business Managers in high growth geographic areas. Cooper is based in Pennsylvania where he will support Schönox in New York, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania. Lepird lives in Winter Park, FL, an ideal location for his work with Schönox customers throughout most of Florida. “Bernie and David bring both the business and the technical knowledge that supports all aspects of our customers’ planning, specification, and project execution needs,” explained Doug Young, Executive Vice President, HPS Schönox. “This is exactly the 360-degree understanding that we look for with the new flooring professionals joining Schönox.”. . .
